Founded in 2021 during the depths of COVID, Soap Impressions began as a visual dance collaboration between Joaquin Bear and Lucia Flexer-Marshall. Since then, SI has produced over a dozen short dance films, screening and receiving awards at Dance on Camera, the San Francisco Dance Film Festival, NYC Shorts Film Festival, and beyond.
